The new model will get a few modifications. It will now offer three engine variants, front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel-drive system. This model comes with four trims SE, SEL, ST, and Titanium.
2020 Ford Edge Engine Options
Under the hood of 2020, Ford Edge is three engine variants that power it. You can choose a base model that comes with a lot of techs and is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that is available in SE, SEL and Titanium trim. 2020 Ford Edge Aggressive and Stylish Look
The 2020 Ford Edge model is mentioned for familiar people, it can accumulate five passengers. Its 2-row configuration and dimensions granted lots of room for passengers and cargo. The platform on which it is built is called the Ford CD4, and this can be seen also in the Lincoln MKX model. Some changes that designers have made are obvious. The whole appearance is sharper, and the most noticeable changes are on the front side where the headlights get an aggressive shape.
The bumper is also slightly changed and now is bigger and more robust than before. The whole look gets a note of aggressiveness, the goal was also to raise the level of luxury. This is achieved by interior solutions.
There was a lot of talk about the extra technology that would be found in the Edge and make it even more practical and interesting. This will depend, however, on trim level, but common to all is the Sync 3 Infotainment system. The model for the 2020 year will come with four trims SE, SEL, ST and the new Titanium Elite package. Some of the best features are a Bluetooth connection, satellite radio, dual-zone automated climate control, rearview camera. All materials in the interior will be premium quality.
2020 Ford Edge Titanium Elite Package
As we have already mentioned early, the model comes with four trims. The company will add new Titanium Elite Package trim in this upcoming model. The Titanium Elite model will be shown for the first time at the Chicago auto show this week. The manufacturer is hoping that will increasing popularity and sales with this package.
The popular Platinum edition is not offered in this year model and the Titanium Elite model sits beneath the ST edition that is also a replacement for the Sport model. The new Titanium Elite package will bring outstanding 20-inch wheels, lower cladding, premium rear skid plate and a full body color sides. We also expect much more in the final version.
