2023 Chevy Avalanche: Redesign, Price, Specs, & Spy Pics. The upcoming 2023 Chevy Avalanche is finally making a comeback. It is an old nameplate and reviving iconic models is a thing nowadays. Basically, every established manufacturer is deciding to opt for this popular move. At this point, we don’t know that much about the return of the Avalanche pickup. Reliable reports are strongly suggesting its comeback, but nothing is official.
Some renderings are available, but those images are not that reliable. Avalanche will surely largely depart from its predecessor once it returns. It is a must for Chevrolet and Avalanche will surely look attractive and very modern. This model is reportedly one year away and it will ride on the famous GM T1 platform that supports rear independent suspension.
New 2023 Avalanche Rendered
As we said, the 2023 Chevy Avalanche won’t look anywhere near its predecessor. We expect to see a completely new look and the first renderings are giving us an idea of how the new Avalanche could look like. For a start, a new generation will look very attractive and sporty. The goal is to offer a sporty-looking pickup with sharp lines and unique styling.
A four-door variant is the most likely outcome. The rendering images are showing the front fascia that is borrowed from Suburban SUV. The grille and the headlights are almost identical. Thanks to the numerous trim levels, Avalanche will offer more luxury and probably the high-performance version. The base trim level offers 17-inch wheels.
Once again borrow a couple of things from the Suburban SUV, the interior of the 2023 Chevy Avalanche will. There will be four trim levels, or even more. Chevrolet will surely deliver a practical cabin with a lot of high-tech amenities. The Avalanche pickup will offer standard dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and numerous USB ports.
Upper trim levels are the answer if you want more premium stuff. That includes heating seats, leather upholstery, Wi-Fi, and much more. It is too early to speculate and we hope that Chevy will surprise us in a positive way.
Possible Engine Lineup
The 2023 Chevy Avalanche will most likely deploy a 5.3-liter V8 engine This is the most likely candidate at the moment. It provides great performances, 360 horsepower, and 390 lb-ft of torque. However, there are some other engines that could be in the offer. A 6.2-liter V8 is also rumored but we are more interested in a standard engine option.
This has to be a smaller displacement that will deliver less power but significantly better fuel efficiency. Hybrid is another option, but we think this is unlikely to happen in the next year. An eight-speed automatic transmission will be offered, and we are waiting for Chevrolet to reveal closer details.
2023 Chevy Avalanche Release Date, Price
The comeback of the 2023 Chevy Avalanche should happen by the end of the year. This means the Avalanche pickup is less than a year away. Still, Chevy is still silent and nothing is official yet. The price will start at around $30,000 or slightly above that.
