2023 Fisker Electric Pickup Rumors and Expect. Last year, we heard very interesting news, regarding the Fisker Ocean SUV. Now, the manufacturer is reportedly working on the 2023 Fisker Electric Pickup. This is not a rumor, as this model is basically confirmed this week. Fisker already provided some details about its arriving Ocean SUV. The automaker is calling it “the world’s most sustainable vehicle.” We are not what to expect from the arriving SUV, but a pickup truck is an even greater mystery.
Of course, we expect great performances and an impressive driving range from both models. A few days ago, Henrik Fisker confirmed the next brand’s model will be a lifestyle-oriented pickup truck. We saw the first teaser image and we must say the design looks very promising. Anyway, here’s everything we know about this new model.
Recently, we saw the first image of the 2023 Fisker Electric Pickup. It is a sketch, but it looks very real and plausible. According to Fisker, the next three models will look very unique in their respective segments. This clearly confirms the pickup truck and Fisker added that the customers should expect more radical designs than the Ocean SUV. Unlike the Ocean model, Fisker Pickup looks edgier.
The design is truly impressive and very modern. The front part looks tall and flat, and a thin LED headlight bar dominates the front section. The side profile won’t largely depart from the SUV variant. On the other hand, the rear is something completely new. The mentioned solar roof panel will be offered as standard.
Fisker Electric Pickup Truck Specs
The upcoming 2023 Fisker Electric Pickup will surely deliver great performances. We don’t know the exact specs. We can use the Ocean SUV as some source of information. Fisker said the SUV will provide around 300 miles of driving range. It rides on the architecture that is developed by the expertise of Magna.
The pickup truck will surely deploy the same platform. This is a must, and it is a good thing as this platform can accommodate two electric motors and the battery pack. An electric motor is placed on each axle so the four-wheel-drive setup will be offered as standard.
The pickup truck will probably deliver fewer miles on a single charge. As we said, SUV provides around 300 miles and pickup trucks will offer around 250 miles. As for the acceleration, the SUV will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. Again, a pickup truck will arrive with slightly lower figures.
An 80kWh battery pack is certain, but we expect to see different battery configurations. Fisker uses solar panels in the roof, which will add few more miles.
2023 Fisker Electric Pickup Price, Release Date
This is the best part about the forthcoming 2023 Fisker Electric Pickup. Unlike its electric rivals, this model will be affordable. To compare, Ocean SUV will reportedly cost $37,500. The pickup truck will cost more, but still below $45,000. This is a fair price given the truck’s performances, great looks, and modern interior. Fisker Pickup will offer sustainability and efficiency. The sales will begin in the first half of 2023.
